The Spring Cleanup Map describes littered areas needing cleanup. To find out more about each area, click on the marker... and info cloud will appear. When you find an area of interest, click on "Adopt me this Spring' (it's in the info cloud), complete the form and click VOLUNTEER.

Before your cleanup date, a KLB Area coordinator will drop off supplies at the address you entered including orange VDOT bags, gloves, litter sticks (claws) and FREE T-SHIRTS for each adult volunteer.

Once you or your group bags litter at the area, you return un-used supplies or arrange for pickup. You can also go back to the map, click on your areas's marker, click on 'Enter cleanup information' and enter the number of bags collected and the number of volunteers in your group.

That's it! As areas are adopted and litter is bagged, the markers turn from RED to BLUE to GREEN...
